POLITO participated in the European Microwave Conference (EuMC) 2024, held from 24 to 26 September 2024 in Paris, France, presenting the paper titled:
“Portable Microwave (pMWI) System for Brain Stroke Imaging Using Off-the-Shelf Components.”
The paper, presented by PhD student Martina Gugliermino, marks a significant milestone in the development of a microwave imaging device for brain stroke monitoring. This technology is being advanced within the framework of the MedWaveImage project, where it will undergo industrialization and clinical testing. For her contribution, Martina Gugliermino was awarded the EuMC Student Grant.
The conference is part of the 2024 European Microwave Week (EuMW 2024), Europe’s premier annual event for the microwave community. Since its inception in 1998, EuMW has brought together experts and innovators from across the globe. This event features three major conferences: the European Microwave Conference (EuMC), the European Microwave Integrated Circuits Conference (EuMIC), and the European Radar Conference (EuRAD).
