The event fully accomplished its purpose and goal – we brought all the pilot schools into one location and introduced children from 1st to 9th grade to sustainable gardening, local food sustainability and caring for nature in a playful and practical way. At the end of the project, short questionnaires were handed out to the mentors to evaluate the activities and the participation of the children. The feedback was mostly very positive – the children experienced the event as interesting and educational, with a particular wish for more animals and additional sports games. This is also a valuable message that motivates us to further develop and diversify the event in autumn 2025.
