How do you develop innovations that truly work?

Date: 19.03.2025
A significant part of the challenge was to create a product that is specifically tailored to the target group and then develop a suitable business model to bring the product from theory into practice. Regular “knowledge nuggets” on established tools like Design Thinking and the Business Model Canvas provided the necessary methodology for focused sessions. Participants worked in interdisciplinary teams, alternating throughout the workshop between creative, free idea development and realistic, critical evaluation. This shift in perspective between “dreamer”, “realist” and “constructive critic” encouraged new ideas and a focus on user needs.  Special thanks to Benjamin Blankenburg for the great moderation!

Our key takeaway: It is crucial to find a problem worth solving before looking for potential solution. Innovation is not so much about a good idea, but rather about bringing it successfully to the market.
