David Strauß from UAS BFI Vienna represented the Innovation Hub with a presentation entitled “Sustainable Local Food Systems in Europe: Comparing Business Models of Alternative Food Networks Across Five Countries.” The session explored how alternative food networks can contribute to regional sustainability and innovation by fostering collaboration among actors in food systems, logistics, and research.
The Austrian Innovation Hub was also present at the Austrian Future Fit Festival, which took place across Vienna from 22 April to 10 June. This city-wide event offered hands-on insights into the future of careers in technology, climate, sustainability, social affairs, and health. It provided an excellent platform for the Innovation Hub to showcase the Food4CE project to the broader public.
