Project overview
Pedestrian Access and Tactical Hubs for Central Europe
In many small and medium-sized towns, fragmented walking and cycling networks lock people into car use even for short trips, harming air quality and liveability. PATH-CE aims to make these places more walkable and bike-friendly. Four municipalities, supported by research partners, test ten small-scale interventions such as clearer pedestrian information, greener streets and safer crossings. Together they develop an economic blueprint for walkable cities so others can adopt proven measures and reduce car dependency.
