Date: 23.02.2026
Technical Schools Engaged in Industry Collaboration. Another local authority has joined the INNOSKILLS-CE project. This time, the City of Wałbrzych is taking part, facilitating cooperation with local technical schools.

Three institutions have been included in the initiative:

  • The „Energetyk” Technical School Complex
  • School Complex No. 7 on Kłodzka Street
  • School Complex No. 5 named after Tytus Huber

These schools provide education in fields crucial to industry and the modern economy. Their involvement in the project serves a clear purpose: to assess how well current education aligns with the real needs of businesses and to identify areas where change is required.

As part of the project, the schools will participate in skills-related research. This includes both an analysis of curricula and the collection of insights from teachers and students. At the same time, parallel research is being conducted among companies.

This approach allows for a direct comparison of two perspectives: what schools teach and what employers expect. It will help identify specific skills gaps, particularly in areas related to new technologies and digitalisation.
