The two Upper Austrian project partners Business Upper Austria and Education Group developed a varied program with two days full of engaging discussions and activities for the approximately 20 representatives of the partner organizations. In addition to presentations and debates about key project outputs, and a workshop exploring potential future collaborations on innovative projects, participants were also introduced to one of Upper Austria’s good practice examples, JKU medSPACE. Univ.-Prof. Dr. Franz Fellner provided fascinating insights into the use of Cinematic Rendering in virtual anatomy.

Additionally, attendees had the opportunity to try out one of the VR application prototypes being developed as part of VReduMED. This application is designed to assist in teaching child CPR, offering value not only in the healthcare sector but also in other fields.
VReduMED – What’s Next?
In the coming months, the VReduMED team will focus not only on further developing and piloting the app prototypes but also on strengthening networking efforts. This will include initiatives such as the Care Education Forum and Train the Trainer workshops, designed to test and promote the use of Virtual Reality in nursing education.
