On May 13, 15:30-17:00 an online stakeholder event will be held targeting members of Clust-ER Greentech, the regional cluster association for energy and sustainable development. The event is organized by Fondazione ITL within the framework of the H2CE project, which supports Central European regions in integrating green hydrogen into their energy transition plans.
The webinar will focus on the decarbonization of the freight transport sector, a critical challenge for Emilia-Romagna, a region with a strong logistics and industrial backbone. As the transport sector remains one of the largest contributors to CO₂ emissions, the event will explore both hydrogen and battery electric solutions, comparing their technological readiness and economic viability (Total Cost of Ownership).
Key speakers include representatives from the Emilia-Romagna Region, Transport & Environment, and Motus-E, offering perspectives on regional policy, EU regulatory developments, and the comparative potential of electric, hydrogen, and biofuel technologies. The language oft he webinar is Italian.
Participants—especially companies and stakeholders from the logistics and green energy sectors—are invited to join this interactive session, which will also serve as a platform to collect input and foster collaborative initiatives within the Greentech Cluster.
