The Autonomous Province of Trento, Trentino federation of Cooperative and Con.solida held the second Virtual Study visit of the project.
The aim was to present the Social Solidarity economy districts to the participants.
The Solidarity Economy Districts – DES – are laboratories for civic, economic and social experimentation.
In Trentino they are regulated by the provincial law LP-13_2010, Therefore it is recognized as a part of the official policy
SCOPE OF LEGISLATION: Recognize and sustain the network concerning activities of a responsible and sustainable economy, social equity, solidarity, social cohesion and interdependent relationships within Trentino area.
Characterizing elements of DESs:
Existence of a chain of financing, production, distribution and consumption of goods and services
Long-term perspective of the project
Plurality of actors
Appointment of a DES manager
Governance multi stakeholder
Local roots and social sustainability
Empowerment of people with special needs through work
The online meeting was held in an interactive way, allowing participants to better learn the key concepts of the money economy districts.
Videos, interviews, questionnaires and final group work in Jaimboard were used.
