Second Stage of Public Consultations in Łódź: Concept Presentation and Courtyard Space Mapping

Date: 01.07.2025
The second stage of public consultations will be carried out in Łódź as part of the INTERREG Central Europe project, led by Lublin University of Technology. The activities will focus on the design concept for the redevelopment of a local courtyard and will include three key components: a public presentation of the concept, a resident survey, and on-site space mapping.

During the presentation, the proposed functional layout of the courtyard will be made available for review, allowing residents to familiarize themselves with the planned spatial solutions. A short survey will also be conducted to collect feedback and suggestions regarding the presented concept.

A central element of this stage will be the courtyard space mapping — an on-site activity involving the temporary marking of proposed elements (such as paths, seating areas, greenery, or functional zones) directly on the courtyard surface. The aim is to test the proposed spatial arrangement in practice and gather user feedback on its functionality and perception. The mapping will form part of a broader process of co-creating public space with active participation from the local community.
