Scientific Seminar on AFNs at Poznań University of Life Sciences (Poland)

On January 20, 2026, the Scientific Seminar “Alternative Food Networks: Consumer Values and the Sustainability of the Food System” was held at the Poznań University of Life Sciences (Poland) within the framework of the Food4CE Project.

The seminar welcomed invited researchers from the UEP – Poznań University of Economics and Business, who shared valuable insights from their research on consumer values, mobile communication, and innovation in alternative food networks.

Key highlights of the event included:

  • Presentations of research projects developed within Food4CE project, with particular focus on the project Matchmaking and Knowledge Transfer Platforms;
  • An overview of the Consumer Research Lab and the Agri-Food Economics Experimental Laboratory;
  • Discussions on opportunities for Joint Research Initiatives and International Cooperation;
  • A brainstorming session dedicated to shaping the concept of the next Food Markets Project Conference.

The seminar created a valuable space for knowledge exchange and strengthening inter-institutional collaboration in the field of sustainable food systems.
