SAVE THE DATE – 3P4SSE Final Conference, a spotlight on the future of Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE)

Date: 24.03.2026
By: 3P4SSE

The 3P4SSE project will conclude its activities with a final conference in Brussels (Belgium), bringing together partners, policymakers and experts committed to strengthening the Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) across Central Europe. On March 24, 2026, at Rue de Pascale 45–47 from 8:30 am to 2:00 pm, the event will combine presentations, discussions and networking moments that will highlight the value and the impact of transnational cooperation.

Luciano Galetti, from the Autonomous Province of Trento, lead partner of the project, will open the day and welcome the participants. Mr. Galetti will be followed by Marco Boaria, CEO of ALDA+, who will share a reflection on the growing relevance of Social Solidarity Economy for local development and its increasing role in public strategies.

With this foundation laid, the conference will move into a detailed presentation of the project’s results and their future potential. Gregorio Vichi, from the Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE Joint Secretariat, will emphasise the importance of transnational collaboration. Partners then will present the Joint Strategy on 3Ps for SSE, the five pilot solutions, the SSE network and platform, and the joint capacity‑building curriculum. Together, these outputs are going to demonstrate how the project has generated practical tools, shared knowledge and new connections to support long‑term change.

A broader European perspective will be offered by Gianluca Salvatori of EURICSE. After his remarks, the conference will welcome Katarina Ivanković‑Knežević, Director for Social Rights and Inclusion at the European Commission’s DG Employment, whose participation will confirm the growing attention SSE is receiving within EU policies.

Building on these insights, a roundtable discussion is going to follow, featuring representatives from Tecnostruttura, the European Commission and Social Economy Europe. Moderated by Rebecca Marconi, ALDA’s Project Manager, the discussion will explore how to scale the project’s achievements, integrate SSE principles into mainstream policies and ensure the long‑term relevance of the solutions developed.

In the closing remarks, Luciano Galetti will stress the need to maintain, replicate and build on the project’s results. The event will conclude with a networking lunch and dissemination activities, including photos, videos and opportunities for participants to share their reflections.

More than a closing event, the final conference is going to celebrate the collective effort behind 3P4SSE and open the door to future collaboration.
