On 26–27 May 2025, the 12th ReBuilt consortium meeting took place at Science Center of TU Wien in Vienna, hosted by project partner Technical University of Vienna. The two-day meeting brought together ReBuilt partners from across Central Europe to review the project’s progress, align future activities, and strengthen collaboration toward circular and digital transformation in the construction sector.
The meeting opened with welcoming words by Prof. Dr. Ildiko Merta (TUW) and Dr. Alenka Mauko Pranjić (ZAG), followed by key updates from Ms. Anna Boruch from the Interreg Central Europe Joint Secretariat, who joined the session online.
Throughout the first day, work package leaders presented progress updates, pilot project outcomes, and implementation plans for the 5th reporting period. Special attention was given to training activities, digitalisation (BIM, digital product passports, platforms), and establishing circular construction hubs in participating territories. The afternoon continued with a session on communication and dissemination, showcasing KPIs achieved so far and the roadmap for upcoming outreach activities. The day concluded with a lab tour at TU Wien and a networking dinner in the city centre.
On the second day, partners engaged in hands-on workshops dedicated to key thematic areas:
-
Internal communication and project visibility,
-
Mapping and assessment findings (A1.1),
-
Co-creation of innovations through Circular Hubs,
-
Circular business modelling and value chains,
-
Digital tools and platforms,
-
And the upcoming joint strategy for circular and digital construction in Central Europe.
These sessions fostered active exchange between partners and encouraged joint planning of upcoming tasks, including the preparation of three co-creative transnational workshops. Partners also reflected on potential risks and ways to mitigate them during the final project phases.
