Wirelessinfo, member of the Plan4All network – which participates as a partner in the Agri-Digital Growth project – has become the first organisation in the Czech Republic officially certified to deliver professional qualifications in smart (precision) agriculture within the National Qualifications Framework.
Wirelessinfo is a Czech non-profit association founded in 2003. Its activity centres on digital and geospatial technologies applied to agriculture, in cooperation with SMEs, research institutions as well as public authorities.
The certification sets out four professional roles in Precision Agriculture – Machinery Operator, Agronomist, Data Technician and Advisor – integrating them into the national VET structure and formally recognising precision farming competences at qualification-framework level.
Following the certification, Wirelessinfo is preparing a new training course for the “Precision Agriculture Data Processing Technician” qualification through the AgriHub educational platform. The course, developed in cooperation with Mendel University in Brno, is scheduled to start in spring 2026. The curriculum addresses satellite data, sensor systems and GIS tools within agricultural management processes.
The entry of precision agriculture roles into the Czech National Qualification Framework places this development within the institutional landscape in which Agri-Digital Growth operates, where digital farming competences are addressed as structured elements of vocational education and as components of the evolving production model shaping agriculture across the European Union.
