There, they provided an introductory session on the new VR applications for teachers who had already completed the “Train the Trainer” course. The main goal of the event was to present the new apps, ensure a safe and confident use of the technology, clarify all necessary questions, and provide all relevant information to guarantee a smooth implementation.
Following a concise introduction to the VReduMED project, participants received a structured walkthrough of the VR headsets and the newly available apps. With guidance from the project team, they had the chance to explore the different applications and ask questions about technical handling and educational use. This practical approach enabled the participants to start developing their own ideas for integrating VR into their lessons. In upcoming internal school events, additional interested teachers will be trained to ensure that as many students as possible benefit from the new learning method.
The session was attended by two enthusiastic teachers from the Nursing School at Pflegecampus Regensburg.
Both showed great openness and interest in the potential of VR technology and expressed strong motivation to implement it in their teaching practice. They also planned to conduct a follow-up session the next day to introduce the applications to the other teachers involved in the project. The VReduMED team from OTH led the session with technical expertise, educational insight, and a supportive atmosphere that encouraged questions and active participation.
