Meet our next key speaker at the PopUpUrbanSpaces Final Conference: Aidan Cerar. Aidan is an urban sociologist at IPoP – Institute for Spatial Policies in Ljubljana. His work focuses on sustainable mobility, placemaking, tactical urbanism, smart cities, city centre revitalisation, and public participation. He is an Assistant Professor at DOBA Business School, where he teaches in the Smart City Management programme. He co-developed Zunaj (Outside), a community-based placemaking mechanism, and co-authored key strategic documents for the City of Ljubljana, including the Sustainable Urban Mobility Plan and the Digital Development Strategy.
