The purpose of the meeting was to introduce the project and its current activities, and then engage in discussions with local stakeholders to learn about their interests and perspectives regarding the accessible tourism and the benefits of the collected data on the accessibility of the area. We learned which locations local stakeholders find interesting for the development of accessible tourism and obtained information about already implemented measures in the field of accessibility in the region.
In the following, we looked at some local tourist spots and checked the interest of the tourist providers in terms of project cooperation, as well as the physical accessibility of the locations. The conversation and visits will help us to determine the area for data collection and the development of tourist services and products.
