Where the project stands
The Lead Partner confirmed that the project is moving forward smoothly. All main activities are on track, and the remaining tasks are expected to be completed by the end of the year. Financial matters were also reviewed, with partners confirming that overall spending is stable.
Building a strong regional network
A key focus of the meeting was the growing H2CE stakeholder network, which brings together regions and organisations interested in hydrogen development. Partners discussed how the network currently works and how it should continue after the project ends. Regional workshops planned for early 2026 will help gather feedback, and a joint agreement will be prepared and signed at the final event in Berlin.
H2CE collaboration platform
The online collaboration platform was presented as a central place to share:
- practical examples and experiences from different regions,
- tools and ideas for hydrogen-related planning,
- learning and capacity-building materials.
The platform is ready and will be promoted more widely in the coming months.
What’s next
Partners also discussed the final H2CE conference in Berlin (March 2026), which will bring together project partners and external stakeholders. The event will be held on site with live online access to reach a wider audience.
The Steering Committee Meeting closed with a shared commitment to keeping cooperation alive beyond the project’s lifetime and continuing to support hydrogen-ready regions across Central Europe.
