The event, titled “Strengthening the H2CE Hydrogen-Ready Regions Network”, will take place on 25 March 2026 in Berlin in a hybrid format, allowing participants to join both on-site and online.
The conference will bring together regional policymakers, researchers, energy experts and stakeholders to discuss the future of hydrogen integration in Central Europe and to present the key outcomes of the H2CE project.
The programme includes:
• Opening session presenting the main results of the H2CE project
• A keynote address by Jorgo Chatzimarkakis from Hydrogen Europe on the future of the hydrogen economy
• Presentation of the H2CE Collaboration Platform supporting regional hydrogen integration
• A high-level panel discussion with representatives from Brandenburg, Emilia‑Romagna and the University of Zagreb
• Presentation of project tools, including the Veneto GIS tool
• Discussion of the H2CE Position Paper and future cooperation opportunities beyond the project
Participants will also have the opportunity to exchange experiences and explore how regions can work together to accelerate the development of hydrogen-ready regions in Central Europe.
