Internationally renowned external experts will participate to three peer-review meetings, and as a group, together with experts employed by project partner institutions, try to improve piloting ideas within SUSTANCE project. They will also assist with improving the effectiveness of promoting more sustainable transport solutions at regional and cross-border level. Mr. Simon Fletcher will contribute to three pilots dealing with train service innovation. He is a train service expert, senior railway professional with significant experience in design, operation and standardized development of railways at national and international levels. Mr. Gabriele Grea and Mr. Riccardo Maratini will contribute to three pilots dealing with ICT, Mobility as a Service (MaaS) solutions and Demand responsive transport (DRT). Mr. Grea is a scientific consultant and researcher in the field of transport and territorial economics. He has been involved in research and development (R&D) projects funded by the European Commission. He is a partner in the Interreg Central Europe project DREAM_PACE focusing on DRT. Mr. Maratini is a transport engineer and an expert on digital solutions. He has a long experience in EU funded project technical assistance and management.
