In an attempt to instill environmental consciousness in the younger generation, fourth-grade students at Elementary School Spinut in Split, participated in an immersive workshop on electric and electronic waste. The workshop, held on Monday, March 25th, was a collaborative effort between PI RERA SD and the NGO Unicompost.

The workshop aimed to educate students about sustainable living practices and the importance of environmental conservation. Through interactive sessions and hands-on activities, the students delved into the world of electronic waste management. They actively engaged in filling out intriguing handouts, enhancing their understanding of the topic.

One of the highlights of the workshop was the puzzle competition, where students raced against each other to piece together an educational puzzle. Additionally, a memory game added an element of fun while reinforcing key learnings about EE waste management. It was inspiring to see young minds enthusiastic about learning and actively participating in activities centered around environmental sustainability.

The workshop marked the beginning of a series of educational initiatives under the Circular WEEEP project, providing educational opportunities that empower students to become environmentally conscious citizens.

Circular WEEEP takes pride in contributing to the education of young minds who will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping a sustainable future.
