Digi-B-Well Budapest Consortium Meeting

Digi-B-Well Partners Meet in Budapest to Mark the Midpoint of the Project

Date: 19.12.2025

The Digi-B-Well consortium gathered in Budapest this December for its 4th partner meeting, hosted by project partner Pannon Business Network Association (PBN). Set against the festive atmosphere of the city during the Christmas season, with the Danube illuminated by winter lights, the meeting offered both a moment of reflection and a forward-looking exchange at a key milestone of the project.

This two-day meeting marked the midpoint of the Digi-B-Well project, corresponding to Period 3 of 6 and the 18th month of the project’s three-year duration. Reaching this halfway point provided an important opportunity for partners to review achievements to date and align on priorities for the next implementation phases.

The meeting opened with a welcoming presentation introducing the history and cultural heritage of Budapest, setting the tone for a collaborative and inspiring exchange. Partners then moved into substantive project discussions, beginning with an overview of the latest steps in finalising Work Package 1, which has laid the scientific and conceptual foundations of the project. The discussions highlighted how research insights are now ready to be translated into practical tools and strategies.

Attention then shifted to the initial stages of Work Package 2, where partners discussed progress on the joint design of the Digi-B-Well digitalisation toolkit. Key topics included the structure of the self-assessment, the development of the questionnaire, the user journey, and the logic for tailored recommendations. These conversations marked the transition from research to application and set the direction for upcoming pilot-related activities.

The meeting also provided space to discuss the roadmap for Work Package 3, focusing on how project outputs will be communicated, scaled, and embedded for long-term impact across the Triple Helix sectors. Plans for upcoming activities, coordination between work packages, and alignment of timelines were jointly reviewed.

Beyond the formal sessions, the Budapest setting fostered informal exchanges and strengthened collaboration among partners. As Digi-B-Well moves into its second half, the meeting reaffirmed the consortium’s shared commitment to promoting healthy, human-centred digital transformation across Central Europe.
