Cross-border workshop: 25 years of cycle route network Moravian Wine trails and EuroVelo 13 – Iron curtain trail

Partnerství, o.p.s. organised in its premises of the South Moravian environmental centre, in Brno, a cross-border event for Czech, Slovak and Austrian partners with the topic of the regional cycle route network Moravian Wine trails, which was initiated by Partnerství, o.p.s. 25 years ago. The cycle route network consists currently of 1.200 km of Wine cycle trails in South Moravia.

Participants of the event from DMOs, regional authorities, municipalities, and NGO´s learned also about the ICTr-CE project and how this project fits the regional cycle tourist product and network of regional and national cycle routes in Czechia, Austria and Slovakia.

Daniel Mourek of Partnerství, o.p.s. presented the European and national aspect of EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain Trail within the frame of the ICTr-CE project. Austrian partners of EuroVelo 13 – Iron Curtain Trail presented the digitalisation of the signposting system of EuroVelo routes in Lower Austria, and the Slovak partner, Ján Roháč of Ekopolis foundation, presented the upgrade of the cyclists’ welcome certification and how it will merge with the Czech certification Cyklisté vítáni.
