On 11 December 2025, the webinar “CREDIT4CE: Tools and Support for SMEs Decarbonization” took place online, organised by the partners of the CREDIT4CE project with the aim of presenting practical tools and support opportunities for companies engaged in the green transition.
The event provided an important opportunity for discussion and knowledge sharing, particularly targeting SMEs across Central Europe interested in starting or accelerating their decarbonisation journey. During the session, project partners presented the first results achieved and introduced the resources already available to help businesses reduce their carbon footprint.
The programme opened with an overview of the CREDIT4CE project, followed by the presentation of the Carbon Footprint Calculator, a free tool designed to support companies in measuring and monitoring their emissions. A significant part of the webinar was dedicated to upcoming opportunities, including the new Startup Support Programme aimed at empowering early-stage companies working on ClimateTech innovation.
In this context, the CREDIT4CE Startup Accelerator was introduced (a three-month acceleration programme targeting early-stage startups developing decarbonisation technologies). The initiative aims to support up to 20 startups in strengthening their business models, enhancing fundraising capabilities, and connecting with investors and markets, ultimately contributing to the decarbonisation of the manufacturing sector.
The webinar also highlighted the Catalogue of Technology and Service Providers, inviting organisations offering green solutions to join a dedicated network that enhances visibility and fosters collaboration at the European level.
Thanks to the active involvement of speakers and the strong interest shown by participants, the event further confirmed the role of the CREDIT4CE project in supporting sustainable innovation and promoting tools and expertise for decarbonisation.
