H2CE supports regions in shaping and coordinating hydrogen development by helping them integrate hydrogen solutions into existing regional and spatial development frameworks. The project builds on existing regional and national knowledge networks and strengthens them through a transnational perspective. Key activities include developing joint strategies and action plans, establishing competence centres, and designing practical incentives for hydrogen deployment.
All project results will be brought together in a digital collaboration platform, making knowledge, tools, and experiences accessible not only to project partners but also to other European regions interested in hydrogen development. In this way, H2CE fosters long-term territorial cooperation and knowledge sharing across Central Europe.
As an important step towards sustainability beyond the project lifetime, H2CE is establishing a Network of Hydrogen-Ready Regions. Through a Letter of Intent, regions and organisations are invited to express their interest in becoming part of this network and to contribute to continued cooperation after the project ends in 2026.
By signing the Letter of Intent, organisations confirm their support for the H2CE Network—whether as project partners, associated partners, or interested stakeholders wishing to join the network and use the H2CE collaboration platform in the future.
The H2CE partnership warmly invites all interested regions and organisations to join this growing community and help shape the future of hydrogen in Central Europe.
