Markersdorf, Germany, 21 October 2025 – The Climate_CRICES project, represented by the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER) and Wroclaw University of Environmental and Life Sciences (UPWr), participated in the “Intensifying Information Exchange in the Euroregion Neisse 2025” meeting, organized by Euroregion Neisse–Nisa–Nysa. The event brought together representatives from municipalities, water authorities, NGOs, and research institutions to share knowledge, exchange experiences, and explore collaborative approaches to climate adaptation in the Lusatian Neisse River basin.
IOER and UPWr team members presented key aspects of the Climate_CRICES project, highlighting its cross-border research, local engagement, and planning tools. The presentation sparked significant interest among participants, with discussions focusing on how shared data and joint strategies can strengthen climate resilience across borders.
Participation in the meeting reinforced Climate_CRICES’ commitment to fostering partnerships across Czechia, Poland, and Germany, co-developing practical solutions, and supporting the implementation of climate resilience measures in the Euroregion Neisse.
