From July 16th to 19th, the Society for Urban Ecology (SURE) hosted its 4th World Conference in Istanbul, Turkey, under the theme “Cities Under Global Transformations: Embracing Change for a Greener Future.” The conference provided a highly relevant platform for the CICADA4CE project, which is dedicated to addressing climate change challenges in Central European cities.
Some project partners actively participated in the event and their involvement highlighted how CICADA4CE is generating knowledge and practical solutions to foster more resilient and sustainable urban environments.
The presence of CICADA4CE at the SURE World Conference reinforced the project’s commitment to international collaboration and exchange, ensuring that experiences and lessons learned in Central Europe contribute to shaping greener cities worldwide.
