On 15 December 2022, the monitoring committee agreed to co-finance 53 new transnational cooperation projects with a budget of nearly 100 million EUR from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). The first call for project proposals of Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE 2021-27 was launched on 15 November 2021. After it closed on 23 February 2022, the programme had checked and assessed 280 project proposals. This process finally resulted in the funding decision by the monitoring committee. To be able to co-finance all excellent proposals the committee further increased the initial call budget by almost 30 million EUR. The slides below provide an overview of selected projects before their contracting. Please note that acronyms and other information might still change during contracting.
