17th Greene 4.0 E-newsletter: Greene 4.0: a journey of discovery, collaboration and transformation

Date: 25.02.2026
Read our final Greene 4.0 newsletter and explore the key achievements, insights, and outcomes of three years of transnational collaboration supporting manufacturing SMEs in their green and digital transition.

After three years of cooperation across seven Central European countries, the Greene 4.0 project has successfully concluded. Working closely with more than 400 manufacturing SMEs, partners gathered valuable insights into the real challenges and opportunities companies face when embracing digitalisation and sustainability.

Based on this engagement, the consortium developed the User Acceptance Model (UAM) – a practical maturity assessment framework helping SMEs assess their readiness and define concrete next steps. In parallel, the project launched B2GreenHub, a digital ecosystem connecting businesses with tools, innovation programmes, coaching, investment readiness support, and peer networks.

While the project formally ends, its impact continues. B2GreenHub remains open as a living platform supporting European SMEs on their path towards a greener, smarter, and more competitive future.
