π PA2 plot near Pilsen, Czech Republic π°οΈ A team from the University of Padova & Czech University of Life Sciences Prague used a UAV (drone) to survey a drought- and heatwave-affected recovery trial (Scots pine; drought-treated vs. control), as part of the RE-ENFORCE pilot action. π¬ The high-resolution imagery will help: β map stand structure, canopy cover, and micro-site variation β set a baseline to track growth, survival, and key physiological traits (e.g., needle pigments) πΈ Photos by Jaroslav Δepl and JiΕΓ ChuchlΓk. π§ Insights from this work will guide science-based restoration for more climate-resilient forests. π Thank you to our local collaborators and partners.
