New bicycle racks at schools and kindergartens. More to be added in public spaces

Olomouc installed over 70 new bike and scooter racks at three schools and three kindergartens, providing space for 138 bicycles and 18 scooters. This initiative, part of the NXTLVL Parking project, supports sustainable mobility, with further installations planned in public spaces.

Citizen engagement in Olomouc by map-based application

During May 2024, Olomouc residents submitted 102 proposals for new bicycle parking spots via a map application. The city selected 40 locations, planning to install 114 racks for 228 bicycles and nine parking spaces over three years as part of the NXTLVL Parking project.
