Wrocław University, a key partner in the Climate_CRICES and coordinator of Work Package 2 (WP2)—focused on academic engagement and knowledge exchange —actively contributed to the programme.
Among the many initiatives, team members involved in Climate_CRICES hosted a public event titled “Tradition and Innovation in Meteorological Measurements. Sources of Knowledge on Climate and its Impacts – the Climate_CRICES Project” at the university’s agrometeorological observatory.
The overall programme featured over 30 events, including expert lectures, hands-on workshops, thematic walks, and panel discussions. Topics ranged from biodiversity, renewable energy, and sustainable urban planning to water and air quality management.
The event demonstrated the value of academic collaboration in promoting climate awareness and fostering public engagement.
