On December 2 and 3, 2025, Plattform e.V. and CGE e.V. welcomed TASK4ISI project partners in festive Erfurt for an engaging programme with strategic meetings, collegial exchange and inspiring field visits. The event reflected the project’s mission to foster inclusive entrepreneurship through joint learning and strategic outlook.

Plattform e.V. organised an informal welcome event at the ISIHUB space in Saline 34 in the north of Erfurt on December 1st. The evening provided an opportunity to catch up with partners and explore the creative, self-organised Saline 34 hub, which is housed in a revived vacant building.

The first day took place at ka:te, a creative space in Erfurt. Our lead partner, Krakow University of Economics, opened the programme with the 4th Steering Committee Meeting. Partners discussed project progress, key deliverables, priorities for the next period as well as potential risks.

This was followed by the 4th Transnational ISIHUB meeting, hosted by Impact Hub Budapest. For a start, each regional ISIHUB representative presented a snapshot of their recent achievements and challenges. Afterwards, the group dived deeper in the topic of ensuring longevity of the network, with a short presentation of LinkedIn groups as good practice examples, followed by intense group discussions. The aim of these discussions was to develop concrete action plans on network presence, knowledge sharing and funding to ensure its longevity.

After that, the consortium engaged in deeper exchange about the implementation of the pilots. In the framework of three collegial consultations, ISIHUB teams presented current challenges they are facing in the implementation of the Business Skills and/or Business Matchmaking Programme. Those challenges were discussed and new perspective and solutions were collected. The challenges included how to best collaborate with local project partners, how to win senior entrepreneurs for the pilots and how to maintain engagement of the participating entrepreneurs.

The day concluded with a city tour through Erfurt’s old town, including its Jewish heritage, which left some partners surprised by the charming views of Erfurt adorned with Christmas lights. Then everyone warmed up at the social dinner in a traditional Thuringian restaurant.

The second day took place at M6, a space for entrepreneurs and start-ups, run by the economic development agency of the municipality of Erfurt. The consortium presented and discussed success factors for anchoring support for inclusive entrepreneurship in local and regional strategies as well as plans to ensure the ISIHUB and the continued support of our target groups beyond the project.

The project partner meeting closed with lunch, prepared by Asal Usmanova, a former participant of the EU Interreg project TASKFORCOME and founder of Dostlar Somsas, who shared her entrepreneurial journey with us. For most of the project partners, the stay in Erfurt concluded with a visit to the famous Christmas market. Some partners stayed on for an additional study visit to three hubs located in three different eastern German towns and run by civil society initiatives. But that’s a story for another blog post…
