On 15–16 October 2025, project partners of CICADA4CE gathered in Břeclav, Czech Republic, for a fruitful two-day meeting hosted by the City of Břeclav.
The event provided an opportunity to review the ongoing activities within the project’s Work Packages and to exchange updates on the five pilot sites implemented across Central Europe.

The first day, held at Břeclav City Hall, focused on presentations from all partners about the progress of their pilot actions and the integration of nature-based solutions into urban planning. Discussions also covered cross-cutting challenges, stakeholder involvement, and communication strategies aimed at enhancing climate resilience and biodiversity in urban areas.

On the second day, participants visited the CICADA4CE pilot site in Břeclav to observe on-the-ground progress and local interventions. The field visit was followed by an engaging workshop at the Primary School Na Valtické, where students warmly welcomed the delegation and shared their inspiring environmental initiatives. Their enthusiasm and commitment to sustainability offered a meaningful perspective on how the younger generation contributes to the project’s goals.

The meeting concluded with a shared sense of progress and collaboration, reinforcing the importance of local engagement and transnational cooperation in addressing climate challenges through green, adaptive, and inclusive solutions.
