The REDU-CE-D Pilot Testing Visit about the Air Transport will take place on 14th April 2026 at Dubrovnik Airport, Croatia.
This event offers a unique opportunity to experience how customized Environmental Management Systems (EMS) are being tested under real operational conditions within airport infrastructure. The pilot focuses specifically on the energy management of HVAC systems, identified as a Significant Energy User (SEU), and validates the integration of real-time monitoring, reporting, and predictive analysis tools.
Participants will gain insight into how energy consumption and emissions related to heating and cooling systems can be optimized through digital monitoring solutions and structured environmental management practices. The visit will showcase how EMS tools are integrated into existing airport systems, improving data transparency, operational efficiency, and environmental reporting.
The Pilot Testing Visit is designed for transport authorities, infrastructure managers, policymakers, sustainability experts, and stakeholders interested in energy efficiency in air transport operations. It represents a key moment within the REDU-CE-D project to demonstrate practical, replicable solutions for greener airport management.
