The first day coincided with Innovation Day at the Brdo Congress Centre in Kranj, the flagship national event of Innovative Slovenia organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia. Under the inspiring theme “With new technologies, we can reach the sky,” the Slovenian Innovation Awards celebrated excellence in product, process, marketing, organizational, and social innovation.
The second day focused on the Slovenian innovation and financing landscape, with presentations by national experts at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia.
Discussions covered funding opportunities, smart financing instruments for startups and SMEs, ESG-focused capacity building, and the intersection of creativity and technology. Participants also visited the newly opened Center Rog Creative Hub — a dynamic space where innovators, makers, and entrepreneurs collaborate and experiment across multiple production labs.
The exchange concluded with thematic seminars, networking moments, and a guided tour of Ljubljana, offering participants valuable insights into Slovenia’s innovation ecosystem.
EoE5 once again underscored the role of FI4INN in connecting regions, fostering collaboration, and advancing the dialogue between innovation and finance in Europe.
