Date: 30.09.2025 - 01.10.2025

Dresden-Pillnitz, Germany, 30 September – 1 October 2025– The Climate_CRICES project is proud to take part in this year’s Statuskolloquium Luftqualität & Klima, a key conference in Saxony bringing together experts from administration, science, and municipal practice. Hosted      by the Saxon State Office for Environment, Agriculture and Geology, the two-day event will spotlight current developments, research insights, and practical solutions relating to air quality and climate change in the region.

On 1 October 2025, Climate_CRICES will be featured in the foyer exhibition with a dedicated information booth:

Dashboard for Climate Impact Information: Floods, Drought & Biodiversity

Will be presented by Climate_CRICES project’s experts Dr. C. Tamara Avellán and Eric Neuber, from the Leibniz Institute of Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IOER     )

This interactive dashboard, one of the key outputs of the project, supports regional and municipal decision-makers by visualizing complex climate change impact and adaptation information and data. The tool provides clear, accessible insights into risks related to flooding, drought, and biodiversity loss, helping communities build resilience and adapt strategically.

Participants will have the opportunity to explore the dashboard firsthand, learn about its scientific underpinnings, and discuss use      cases directly with the project team.

Why Climate_CRICES Matters

As regions increasingly face localis     ed and compounding climate risks, Climate_CRICES empowers municipalities with timely, location-specific information and data. By turning complex datasets into intuitive, actionable dashboards, the project bridges the gap between science and governance.

We look forward to showcasing our work, connecting with practitioners, and contributing to a more resilient Saxony.
