The H2CE project is reaching its successful conclusion, having developed a comprehensive set of concrete tools, strategic frameworks and policy recommendations to support the integration of hydrogen into regional energy systems across Central Europe. Over the past three years, partners have worked together to strengthen governance capacities, enhance transnational cooperation and provide practical solutions that enable regions to prepare for hydrogen deployment in a structured and forward-looking manner.
With its key outputs now finalised — including collaboration platforms, analytical instruments and strategic guidance documents — the project represents a significant milestone in building a sustainable network of hydrogen-ready regions. Beyond its formal lifetime, H2CE lays the foundation for continued regional cooperation, knowledge exchange and coordinated action to accelerate the energy transition and contribute to a climate-neutral future in Central Europe.
