We are pleased to invite you to the online workshop “H2CE Tool Demo & Stakeholder Testing” within the framework of the H2CE project – Hydrogen and Climate-friendly Energy in Central Europe.
H2CE supports regional authorities in integrating hydrogen and renewable energy into planning processes through innovative, data-driven tools.
The workshop represents an opportunity to explore two strategic tools developed within the project and contribute to their refinement.
By participating, you will be able to assess their potential relevance in your local context, connect with other experts and institutions working on similar challenges, and help improve the usability and applicability of tools that may support future planning in your territory.
The tools have been developed and tested in three different regions and are now ready for wider validation:
The GIS Platform allows regional authorities to map hydrogen demand, assess energy infrastructure needs, and simulate development scenarios based on spatial, economic and environmental data.
The Energy Cells Model helps local actors design and evaluate integrated, decentralized energy systems using multiple renewable sources and storage technologies, with a focus on climate neutrality and sector coupling.
Your feedback will help assess the usability and transferability of these tools and support their future adoption in other regional contexts.
