The GOV4PeaCE project will move into a crucial phase with the First Joint Transnational Strategic Workshop and Conference taking place in the scenic and historically rich region of Poloniny National Park. The event will be hosted by the Poloniny National Park Administration in cooperation with Slovak stakeholders, and will bring together project partners, historians, heritage experts, public authorities, and representatives of civil society from across Central Europe.
The event will combine a strategic workshop, transnational conference, and site visits, all aimed at strengthening cooperation in the preservation, management, and sustainable use of WWI heritage.
🔹We will dive deep into key discussions:
– How can we better manage and promote WWI heritage?
– How can we involve communities in caring for forgotten places?
– Can we create cross-border trails that tell shared stories?
