The first program, “Doctor Forest – Why nature is good for us”, is designed for students in grades 4 to 6. It encourages children to explore the forest through sensory activities, showing how nature supports mental and physical well-being.
For grades 8 to 9, “Superhero Forest – Superpowers for our future” focuses on the forest’s key ecosystem services, such as oxygen production, air purification, water storage, and cooling — essential in the fight against climate change. The forest is presented as a “climate superhero” vital to our planet’s future.
The third program, “Forest Factory – What the forest provides us with”, targets older students and examines the forest’s provisioning services. It highlights the balance between resource use and protection, sustainable management, and introduces the concept of ecosystem service compensation.
