The GreenScape CE project was prominently featured at the Arcadia Festival of Transformative Nature-Based Solutions in Zagreb. Represented by project lead partner REGEA, the team presented GreenScape CE’s vision for integrating green infrastructure and building climate-resilient urban landscapes across Central Europe. During the session on Governance, Regulations, and Standards, Miljenko Sedlar, Head of REGEA’s Climate Change Department, highlighted Zagreb’s efforts in advancing spatial planning, climate-conscious procurement, and the development of Local Action Plans as key strategies within the project. GreenScape CE also showcased a dedicated poster in the main exhibition hall, alongside eight other European projects addressing nature-based solutions—from flood prevention to green insurance. The festival welcomed over 200 participants and featured engaging discussions on topics such as NbS financing, green roofs, circular urban planning, and GIS tools. The event reinforced the critical role that local communities play in shaping livable, sustainable cities and offered a vibrant platform for exchanging innovative approaches with partners from across Europe.
