On Tuesday 21 November, @dream-pace´s partner, nexus, launched the Living Lab activities for in the German Region of #Baden-Württemberg at the conference “Local transport on demand: opening up rural areas with flexible services”.
More than 140 participants, experts from local mobility providers, research institutions, and industry partners were invited by the NVBW, a state-level organisation (and associated partner in DREAM_PACE) for public transport services to discuss strengths and challenges of existing DRT concepts with a special focus on mobility in rural regions. To provide more insights, nexus will evaluate benefits and needs of DRT-services outside of urban centers. With the aim to improve rural DRT-services, nexus, together with the district of Calw (Northern Black Forest) will evaluate through social participatory research usage.
