What´s to come in the first half of 2024?

As we step into the vibrant year of 2024, we’re thrilled to invite our valued stakeholders, to join us in a journey brimming with extraordinary activities and opportunities. This year promises to be one of innovation, engagement, and memorable experiences. As the period 2 comes to a close we have number of activities being prepared for execution, mainly:

1. Catalogue of best practices and success stories of SMERF:

Each of the partners of the project will make 2 inspiring interviews with experienced experts in selected area. Discussed areas will be in alignment with project´s 4 project pillars. Interviews will be available on the project´s Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@InterregCESMERF .

2. Audit range to determine SME´s level of advancement in project´s 4 pillars:

An innovative audit methodology will be developed for accessing companies´ level of advancement in each of the 4 pillars. This will be a great tool for companies to know how ready they are to be transformed into SME Ready for the Future.

3. Webinars on factors influencing transformation of SMEs + the Inspiration Knowledge Base launch:

4 webinars, each focused on 1 project pillar will take place with entities that will support SME´s transformation, such as Higher Education Institution and innomediaries. The scope of each webinar will include specific know-how from external expert. Background for upcoming work packages will also be given. These webinars will include the testing of the project´s Inspiration Knowledge Base where best practices and success stories will be presented.

4. Report on best practices, policies and strategic initiatives of more innovative regions:

Partners from more innovative regions such as Germany and Austria will determine best practices and policies regarding innovation systems in their regions. They will also determine how to transfer practices to less innovative regions of the project such as Poland, Croatia, Slovakia, Italy and Hungary). This shall be very helpful for the less innovative regions. We encourage all of our stakeholders to join us on social media as well, so they do not miss on any news, activities or webinars.
