Jane’s Walk in Szeged Successfully Organized

Date: 03.05.2024

This year marked the fifth Jane’s Walk in Szeged, with the first one organized back in 2017, where we had just six participants. Fast forward to this year, and we were joined by over 30 enthusiastic walkers eager to explore and share their experiences of Szeged’s fascinating spots. From the youngest participant at just six months old to the eldest at 74, and even a furry friend joining us, our diverse group made for a memorable and enriching walk through our beloved city. Jane’s Walk, an annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs, celebrates neighbourhoods worldwide. On the first weekend of May each year, Jane’s Walk festivals bring together communities in hundreds of cities globally. They encourage sharing stories, uncovering hidden gems, and fostering connections between neighbours, all through the simple act of walking. πŸŒπŸ‘Ÿ Let’s continue to explore, learn, and connect as we stroll through our vibrant city together! #janeswalk #community #Szeged #walkingconversation
