Good news for German applicants for Interreg B projects: With immediate effect, applications for funding can once again be submitted to the federal Transnational Cooperation programme. With the Federal Transnational Cooperation Programme, the German Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) supports Interreg B projects with main topics of special Federal Government interest, which contribute to a sustainable and integrated spatial development. The Programme is divided up into three funding categories: support of the preparation of applications, participation in the cofinancing of EU funds and financing of additional measures for Interreg B projects.
The Programme is in particular looking for applications on the following main topics:
- Resilient, cross-sectoral economic and administrative structures
- Adaptation measures to climate change in towns, cities and regions
- Regional circular economy approaches
- Sustainable mobility in agglomerations and sparsely populated regions
