On 29 February 2024, the JETforCE Challenge Mapping Tool was officially launched during the 10th Annual Bautzen Energy Forum in Knappenrode, Germany.
The event provided an opportunity to present the digital tool to members of the JETforCE Transnational Just Energy Transition Alliance (T-JETA) and other stakeholders interested in supporting a just energy transition. The presentation demonstrated how the tool can facilitate citizen engagement by enabling public authorities, communities and other stakeholders to identify challenges, exchange perspectives and collaborate on social and environmental issues.
Through its participatory approach, the Challenge Mapping Tool supports more inclusive transition processes by creating a space for dialogue and cooperation between different groups involved in the energy transition. The launch marked an important step in promoting stakeholder involvement and strengthening engagement around sustainable transformation pathways.
