CO-DESIGN WORKSHOP ReBioClim – OBNOVA MESTSKÝCH TOKOV PRE PRÍRODU, KLÍMU A ĽUDÍ

The workshop will bring together stakeholders to collaboratively shape the restoration of the Teplica stream in the central part of the city park in Senica.  The workshop will begin with an introduction to the ReBioClim project and the Teplica stream, followed by an on-site excursion. Throughout the day, participants will engage in expert presentations on nature-based solutions and stream restoration, and take part in participatory sessions aimed at developing a shared proposal for restoring natural conditions and bringing life back to the stream.

This workshop is intended for invited representatives of stakeholders who can contribute to the development of a high-quality proposal for the restoration of the Teplica Stream in the central part of the city park in Senica.

Workshop Goals

  • To jointly design a nature-based restoration of a section of the Teplica stream
  • To take into account expert knowledge, local needs, and the interests of various groups
  • To prepare a proposal that will serve as a basis for implementation in 2026 within the ReBioClim project

Expected Outputs

  • A foundation for the technical design of the revitalization to be carried out as part of the ReBioClim project
  • Collected knowledge and proposals will be compiled into a professional publication to support other cities in planning similar measures
