The European Week of Regions and Cities

11-14 October 2021

Preparations for the European Week of Regions and Cities are under way and registration will open soon! Join our session to get first insights into the new ESPON study on spatial flows in central Europe and receive more information about the launch of our first call for project proposals. 

Under the slogan “Together for recovery”, the #EURegionsWeek 2021 will be centred on four topics:

  • Green Transition: for a sustainable and green recovery
  • Cohesion: from emergency to resilience
  • Digital Transition: for people
  • Citizens' engagement: for an inclusive, participative and fair recovery

Due to the ongoing pandemic, the event will take place virtually with a possibility of limited physical presence, to be confirmed at later stage.

The EU Sustainable Energy Week

25-29 October 2021

Every year the European Commission (Directorate-General for Energy and EASME) organises the EU Sustainable Energy Week  – the biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe. 

This year’s edition will be held under the theme ‘Towards 2030: Reshaping the European Energy System’ and will cover six elements across the EU: the Policy Conference, EUSEW Awards, European Youth Energy Day, networking, side events and the Energy Days.

Once again it will be held as a digital event, with more opportunities than ever to connect, engage, network and reflect on the biggest issues in clean energy in Europe and beyond.
