Cooperating on cultural heritage in central Europe

The European Week of Regions and Cities (#EURegionsWeek) is an annual Brussels-based event in which officials from regional and urban administrations, as well as experts and academics, exchange good practices and know-how in the field of regional and urban development. One big topic for this year`s edition is "Education, Culture and Youth".
More than 20 sessions will be organised in this thematic cluster. Two sessions will give special focus on Interreg cooperation that has proven to be the right instrument to find synergies and linkages across borders among important actors to successfully promote European heritage. Both sessions will present achievements of our Interreg cultural cooperation projects.
Cultural heritage: worth the investment? 9 October (9.30 - 11.00) , organised by Oslo Region
Small investments in cultural heritage can bring impact far beyond expectations. The session will demonstrate this through presenting four recent excellent projects from the ESIF and EEA and Norway Grants covering different themes, partnerships and geographic areas.
Coop Cult and Succeed - EYCH2018 10 October (9.30 - 11.00) organised by European Commission
During this session, the publication "Connecting Cultures, Connected Citizens" featuring inspiring 8 examples Interreg CENTRAL EUROPE cultural heritage projects will be officially presented.
